Merlin’s Forge is a Minecraft mod that adds and modifies game features to make play easier and more fun. Minecraft play can be tedious and repetitive. The Staff of Life and Death serves two functions: Life: If the player is killed with this staff in inventory, the respawned player will keep their inventory. Death: Right clicking the staff will kill the closest hostile mob in range.
Merlin’s Boots are made of high-strength kevlar and come with speed. When smelted in Merlin’s Forge, the FIRE PROTECTION enchantment is added.
Merlin’s Pants are made of high strength kevlar and come with jump boost. When smelted in Merlin’s Forge, the BLAST PROTECTION enchantment is added.
Merlin’s Shirt is made of high strength kevlar and comes with fire protection, anti-arrow forcefield and the ability to glide. When Merlin’s Shirt is smelted in Merlin’s Forge, the ARROW PROTECTION enchantment is added.
Merlin’s Helmet is made from high strength kevlar and comes with night vision, and a “low air supply” warning. Smelting Merlin’s Helmet in Merlin’s Forge adds the PROTECTION enchantment.
Merlin’s TNT blasts out 3x3x8 block mineshafts. The shaft contains lighted support braces and rails. Set the block, face in the direction you want the shaft to go, the left click the block. A shaft appears with bracing and rails.
Merlin’s Spawner Block allows you to spawn the following mobs: Sheep using Raw Mutton Pigs using Raw Pork Cows using Raw Beef Chickens using Raw Chicken Villagers using Rotten Flesh Iron Golems using Iron Ingots Merlin’s Mobs using Spider Eyes
Merlin’s Forge smelts ores, gems, food and other items to produce merlinsforge products. Gold ingots are required to craft the Forge and it will only burn redstone and lapis blocks.
The Block of Protection adds health to all mobs within 5 blocks and kills hostile mobs within 16 blocks. It does not stop projectiles. This is a great block to put in the center of a village to protect and restore the health of villagers. Hostile mobs can’t get within the 5 block “healthful” radius.
The Fish Trap catches fish while the player is doing other things. In order to work, the Fish Trap block must be surrounded by water at least two blocks in each direction. All the player has to do is come by periodically and gather up the dead fish lying around the Fish Trap block.
The /tidy command removes from inventory: cobblestone stone including granite, diorite and andesite leaves, flowers and grasses sand, gravel and dirt
The Schematic Stick sets the lower-right and upper-left corners of a space that can be saved as a Schematic file. To use it, FIRST click the lowest most northwest block of the space. SECOND, click the highest, most southeast, block of the space. Finally, type the command /sch save <schematic file name>.
The /sch command has five primary options: /sch list <search> – displays a list of schematics in the schematics folder that contain the characters in the <search> parameter. The display shows the width, length and height of the schematic (WLH). /sch show <schematic name> – shows where the schematic will be placed in your world
To find a nearby mineshaft, type /fm. A spiral search will look for PLANKS between level 20 and 40 and return a message with the x/y/z location of that PLANK. Note that this location may be anywhere in the mineshaft, not necessarily the core location. If no nearby mineshaft can be found, a message is
To find a biome, type /fb <biome name> and a spiraling search will attempt to find the closest biome of that type. If the biome is found, the player is teleported high above the biome. Better have wings or fall protection if you use this command. The search terminates after 10 seconds if no biome
